Blogging brings Sales Leads To Jupiter Research
November 3rd, 2004
Today’s Investors Business Daily article describes how Jupiter Research’s 12 analyst blogs are effective for both lead generation and developing deeper connections with their clients.
Blogs are, "…stirring sales leads from clients who otherwise might not have contacted Jupiter, says David Schatsky, chief of research at JupiterMedia’s Jupiter Research unit. The company can’t say just how much business the blogs have generated. But Schatsky says scores of potential clients have contacted Jupiter because of the blogs."

I found your blog fascinating–I had no idea this world existed. And well-written. Do you think the techniques you discuss could apply to, say, purely hypothetically, a guy keeping an on-line journal of his vendetta against the whale who ate his wife, kid and arm to build sales for the book version being published in April?
you wouldn’t happen to be buckethead, would you?
Hi. You know the worst thing that BlogExplosion did was to add the ratings thing. The second worst thing is for people to be offended by the rating they are given. You visited me about my giving you a 1. First of all, I remembered your site even before I came back because I wrote BlogExplosion about me trying to rate it and many others. It was auto-checking the 1 and then logging me out, so I never actually rated your blog at all, lol. However, I don’t think anyone should be offended when they ACTUALLY are given a 1, I have had many. Use it to your advantage and look at your site as an outsider. Ask yourself what you can do to make it more interesting. Thats what I do. Actually, I would probably have given you a 5 or 6. I have been on the net about 14 years and rank sites based on many things such as content, layout, presentation, visitor interaction, etc etc. Also, keep in mind that members can rate your site again in 7 days and they might increase the rating. Either way, sorry the 1 offended you, but it was actually my fault. Peace!
Ooops, sorry about the mistake in my previous post. The last sentence should have said, it was actually NOT my fault, lol. Have a beautiful day.
Dariana,
Thanks for finding my blog again. It was nice hearing from you! Frankly, blogging can get a little boring (for me) with out a little controversy now and then. Your blog gives a great vibe (as others have said).
I am amazed at how some people can share their intimate life details on their blogs. I’m just not that into self-disclosure. I just disclosed that I do not disclose – hah! I hope you have a beautiful day too!
Hi again, lol. Actually interaction with visitors ranks really high in my book, so if and when I get the chance to rate you (I think I have to wait 7 days), I would now have to say you would get a 10 more than likely. I find you to be a very personable and reasonable individual and I like that. Sorry things got off wrong for us but hopefully we have that worked out now. If nothing else, I feel I have found a new friend here and that means more than anything else. As a matter of fact, I would like to link your blog to both of mine if you have no objections. And as for a beautiful day……….thank you for being kind enough to stop back by my blog and give me the benefit of the doubt. That in itself has made for a lovely day.
Check out my other site sometime as well. I’m going to add you there too if its alright.
